3D Movies Showing Promise

It seems more and more likely that 3D movies are going to be a permanent fixture in the future.Dreamworks animation have said that all there future films will be in 3d.We will still have to wear glasses to get the effect but unlike the old ones which tended to give the wearer a headache the new glasses do not have this problem and the 3D effect is much better. Theatres are gradually converting there screens for the new technology. The first 3D movie of a U2 concert will be released this fall and then we will be able to judge  the quality of the 3D experience for ourselves. The CEO of Dreamworks Animation Jeffrey Katzenberg says he has seen the future of Cinema and it is 3D. Unlike the older low quality 3D we have seen in the past the new technology is flawless and crisp. Will we have to wear special glasses, well yes but not like the old cadboard ones we have used in the past. Katzenberg says that by 2009 all Dreamworks animated films will be in 3D and eventually all films will be made in both 2D and 3D versions.Please click here for the story.
