Spielberg and Hanks close Melbourne intersection to film new war series

To film some scenes from the sequel of “Band of Brothers” which is called “Pacific” The Melbourne intersection had to be closed  for the weekend as some 700 extras and 15 film trucks were involved in the  filming. “Enders Game” coming to Theatres

For those out of the know, Tom Cruise has recently taken some time away from ruining the life of his young bride to make a movie about a group of conspirators plotting to assassinate Hitler. These conspirators were particularly significant because they were comprised of German noblemen and officials, and their plans were more feasible than my android army idea. “Jurassic Park IV”

“Jurassic Park IV” is not yet in the casting process but reps at Amblin Entertainment say that the film is still in the planning and screenplay process of development so it looks like the film is going to be made but we just will have to wait a while before it reaches movie theatres .More information here.

Steven Spielburg and Tom Hanks scout locations for “The Pacific”

Tom Hanks and Steven Spielburg are making a film about war in the Pacific theatre. The movie is a follow up to the “Band of Brothers” 10 part mini series on HBO.The filmakers were at the Marion Military Institute looking at some of the older buildings at the institute.The buildings will  then be recreated on a set in Australia where tha filming is taking place.For more details please click here.
