Tom Cruise film Valkyrie Builds Replica of Hitler’s HQ

The movie Valkyrie being filmed in Germany is to cost 80 million Euros.The film which stars Tom Cruise has suffered a few setbacks as the German Government has prohibited filming at some locations. The controversial movie has Tom Cruise playing the lead plotter in a plot to assassinate Hitler.Read more here.


Apple iPhone Controversy

Some people who have purchased an iPhone are unhappy to find out that the batteries are difficult to replace unlike batteries for other cell phones. Apple has started a battery replacement program. With this plan iPhone owners submit their batteries to Apple for replacement. It takes 3 days to replace the battery but Apple said loner phones will be available for the 3 days.More information here.

Controversy has played an interesting role in the growth of the film making industry. Some films have  used controversy just to  draw attention to the film hoping they will make more money but other film makers have deliberately used controversial themes in order to promote interset in topics that society might consider taboo.
