Sci-Fi Movies : The New Breed

Science Fiction movies and TV shows are making a comeback. Of the 45 Pilots picked up for series next year about a quarter are Science Fiction or Fantasy or influenced by them. 3D Movies Arriving Soon

The CEO of Dreamworks Animation Jeffrey Katzenberg says he has seen the future of Cinema and it is 3D. Unlike the older low quality 3D we have seen in the past the new technology is flawless and crisp. Will we have to wear special glasses, well yes but not like the old cadboard ones we have used in the past. Katzenberg says that by 2009 all Dreamworks animated films will be in 3D and eventually all films will be made in both 2D and 3D versions.Please click here for the story.

Blu – Ray vs HD DVD

The battle is still raging on in the hi definition DVD wars but Toshiba and their HD DVD format suffered a large setback recently when video rental giant Blockbuster announced it has chosed Blu – Ray format to rent it’s hi definition movies on.
